Separation of metals

The concept has originated from the „Technology to obtain copper powders and nanopowders from industrial waste, especially flotation waste arising in the copper industry” invented in ICRI and commercialized (PL 212865). In the opinion of the Inventors, according to their best knowledge and experience, the method can be adapted for the separation of metals other than copper, such as Ni, Co, Fe, Zn, Mn, Ag, or the metal oxides (or salts) which are present in the flotation waste. An option is available to concentrate the separated metals by nanofiltration. The technology is at the Technology Readiness Level IV. Its value has been assessed using the DCF (discounted cash flow) method.
